Bombycopsis nigrovittata (Aurivillius, 1927) is a species of Lasiocampidae from Africa. It was found and reared by Marcel van Bijnen, who kindly gave me permission to use the images on this story on my website.

The caterpillars were found in Uganda and raised to adults. The host plant is currently not identified. Below are provided some pictures of this rearing.
